latency for AA as source to CDP

On our tests it's been about 30min AA to AEP.

Using Edge (Web SDK, others) you'll have <1s latency and make realtime use cases an option.

You can also send data only using Edge to AEP, and connecting Adobe Analytics to use AEP's data as source, but that usually requires a longer project. Usually you might want to keep both trackings active during a transition, and it might be the case if you plan on CJA in the future.

I noticed that you're planning to ingest Adobe Analytics data into AEP using the Adobe Analytics source connector. I’m curious to understand your use case better.

From what I see, if you're already using the Web SDK, it’s possible to send data directly to AEP/RTCDP without routing it through Adobe Analytics. So I'm wondering:

• Are you using this flow because everything is already set up in AA and you'd prefer not to change your current data collection setup?

• Is the goal to preserve the existing variable structure or naming conventions in AA (like eVars, props) and align your AEP schema accordingly?

• Are there any specific reporting or latency considerations driving this approach?

• Or is this more about reusing historical data that’s already in AA?

Would be great to hear what’s motivating your architecture decision — just trying to understand the rationale behind using the AA source connector instead of sending data directly into AEP.

I know that Web SDK is real-time and would like to know how it compares to Web SDK.

Web SDK to AEP mostly real time, while with AA mediator latency may be in place.

Is it possible to track web data through Web SDK send it to Analytics and then use it as AA as source to AEP?

Yes, it's possible but extra latency might be there. But still you can go through below.
