Is it possible to deactivate TEST_AMCV_COOKIE_WRITE and TEST_AMCV_COOKIE?

Hi all,

I have tried to deactivate the two cookies TEST_AMCV_COOKIE_WRITE and TEST_AMCV_COOKIE in the Tag Manager (Lauch), but found nothing. Hence the following question:
Is it possible to disable the two cookies or is it possible to wait for the user consent before I set these two cookies?

If I understand correctly, the two cookies are only used to check whether cookies are accepted or not.

Thanks and best regards,

Peer

Hey @christian_peer_

I haven't tried to disable these cookies explicitly but have tried to wait for user consent to initialise AMCV cookies using the opt in functionality in the ECID service extension. You can try out the same and see if it helps.

In my scenario, till the user consented, mid was not generated for the user and no adobe tool calls were sent through.

Hope the above helps somewhat.

Cheers,

Abhinav
