Is it possible to connect AEP via SSO?

Hello,

Our client has a requirement to access the AEP environment using their existing SSO. Has anyone already done this, and are there any available documentation on how to achieve it?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, it is possible to access the AEP environment using the existing SSO. AEP supports a variety of SSO providers, including Google SSO, Microsoft SSO, and Okta SSO. To configure SSO for AEP, you must create a new SSO provider in the AEP console and then configure your existing SSO provider to connect to AEP.

Here are the steps on how to configure SSO for AEP:

  1. Go to the AEP console and sign in.
  2. Click on the "Settings" tab.
  3. Click on the "Identity and Access Management" tab.
  4. Click on the "Single Sign-On" tab.
  5. Click on the "Create New Provider" button.
  6. Select the type of SSO provider you want to create.
  7. Enter the required information for the SSO provider.
  8. Click on the "Create" button.
  9. Once the SSO provider is created, you need to configure your existing SSO provider to connect to AEP.

The steps to configure your existing SSO provider to connect to AEP will vary depending on the SSO provider you are using. However, you will typically need to provide the following information:

  • The URL of the AEP environment
  • The username and password of an AEP administrator
  • The name of the SSO provider

Once you have configured your SSO provider to connect to AEP, you can access the AEP environment using your SSO credentials.

Hope this helps.
