Does MultiEntity Audience need to have lookup dataset and schema enabled for profile as well

 Hi Experts,

I'm trying to check if while creating the multi entity audience, does the lookup dataset also needs to be profile enabled in order to get the field in AEP audience.

With both the schemas individual profile and custom class enabled for profile, I'm able to see the lookup fields in audience, want to check if this is disabled for profile, how will it behave.

Hi @shivanim  - Platform has been designed in a way that only profile enabled attributes will appear on the AEP audience list respective of any schema type. You are right, if you want your look up schema attributes should be in an AEP audience list then your schema MUST have enabled by profile. Moreover, if you make a one-to-one relationship between individual profile and custom class then you should be accessing the look up related attributes from relationship related properties on AEP audiences. Hope, this helps you to create audience using look up schema.

Thank you,

Hi @shivanim

If you are needing a field to populate within the segmentation editor, you either have to have ingested data for that particular field, or selected to show all fields (not only fields with xdm data).

If a schema is disabled for profile, data will not be included in the profile store.
