Data Transfer Time

Hi,

What is the data transfer time for destinations such as Adobe Target and AJO?  For Facebook and Google, it seems the data is refreshed every 4 hours.  Is that the case?

Hi @SCB21 

With AEP & Target, you can implement same-page personalization or next-page personalization - so segments (realtime) get evaluated in real-time in Edge. So sharing depends on the type of segments as well.

With AJO - we executed near real-time email send as well eg: user registers on the site, the segment gets evaluated and AJO utilizes that to trigger the welcome communication. Here again, the type of segments will matter if you are using that as a trigger point.

Does the same segment type apply to external destination like Meta, Google or is it always a 4 hours or 5 hours data transfer?

Hi @SCB21,

If you have a streaming segment, then as soon as the profile is getting qualified it will trigger the update to the social network.

Note: When activating the segment export to social platforms here are some things to keep in mind:

• The user/profile should be qualified by a given partner for it to actually export.
