AEP dataset Activity not showing existing profile count

Hi Community ,

I am facing issue with event dataset activity, where I am not able to see existing profile fragment count on batch ingestion. Issue is discussed in below url.

I could not the resolution of this issue.

You're seeing "Existing Profile Fragment Count" = 0 after batch ingestion, even though records are successfully ingested. This could be due to:

- Missing or incorrect identity mapping in the event dataset.
- No identity overlap with existing profiles.
- Merge policy settings excluding the dataset.
- Profile toggle not enabled on the dataset.
- UI delay or data latency in reflecting the profile counts.
- Identity stitching delay in Adobe Experience Platform.

You can verify your dataset's identity settings, profile toggle, and merge policy.
