AEP audiences show email sent as zero

Hi, I'm seeing something a little odd on the profiles in AEP. We are using AJO and sending emails. in the customer profile, under events, i can see all the message interactions like message open. but dont see the email sends (i would imagine its direct marketing email sent). In fact i dont see the 'direct marketing email opened' event either (as i would expect from an AJO send, which also makes building audiences tricky as those events when used, return zero). and why under message event type. 

 

I've set the channels up as marketing emails, so would expect to see all email interactions

 

any ideas?

I think you should be looking at:

  1. message.feedback: for message sent (feedback status = sent)
  2. message.tracking: for open, click etc (interaction type)

Hi, yes, i noticed that, but I'm still puzzled as to why there is nothing in the email events that are AJO standard. I'm wiorried there is something wrong with the setup and / or tracking of platform

Hi @marc_stowe_za ,

I would suggest to check the journey - see all the nodes, wait etc.

You can also refer to the report which will show the status of the emails. To debug further, you can run query on the dataset: resource
