1500 request per second for EDGE ingestion for profile enabled dataset

Avatar

This 1500 rps guardrails is only for edge segmentation, or is that also an issue for edge data engestion into profile enabled dataset? What if we need to ingest 15K ros data into profile enabled datasets?

Hi @Pradeep-Jaiswal ,

It seems the 1500 rps limit applies also when ingesting data to profile or streaming segmentation. However, when ingesting to data lake the limit is 4000 to 5000 rps,

This document lists all the data collection/ingestion related guardrails - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/ingestion/guardrails

Also, the 1500 rps limit you mentioned is performance guardrail which means it is not a hard limit like system enforced guardrail but a recommended limit. So exceeding this limit won't break anything but will impact the performance.

Cheers!
