In the 8/15 West Coast Office Hours, there was a discussion about "one new cookie function that replaces the 3 in _satellite. And 1 new logger function. Document to come."

Just wanted to see how this was coming along

    Still to come.  One of the developers is working on the documentation for the client-side stuff now, will let you know when it's available.
