When we link DTM embed code to Launch, and do not publish Launch property, until Launch property is tested properly using Launch command, will it have any impact on current DTM property which is being published in production i.e., if we are parallely creating new rules or data elements and publish them ? If Yes, how will this situation be handled ?
The linked embed code will load one of two things:
1) The DTM Production library
-or-
2) The Launch Production library
WHICHEVER ONE WAS MOST RECENTLY PUBLISHED.
This means that there is no impact on your production tracking until you push the Launch build into production.
It also means that if you should need to revert back to DTM, you can just force a publish there.
