Hi Team,

As amazon ads is changing some policies, and has asked to use audiences who has consent to show ads to them.

Could someone help me understand which field can be responsible for taking the consents for this.

Thank you.

Hi @shivanim

you mean as a client-side tag or server-side? In both ways, it depends on your consent management platform and how it persists the consent e.g., in which cookie, localStorage value etc.

Can you give some more information on that?

are consent for data profiling and market research fields fine for sharing the amazon ads to users.

@shivanim  , what consent management platform are you using, and where you are  capturing value? Are these mapped to your schema /dataset? If yes, use policy and governance labels to export the audience to Amazon's destination.

  • If you're using a standard schema like XDM Individual Profile, check the consent-related field groups (e.g., Consents and Preferences).
    example : consents.marketing.email.optIn
