How data is collected in Adobe Event forwarding?

Hi All,

I would like to understand that how Adobe collected data through event forwarding (Launch server side)?

Could you please guide me step by step. Thank you

Data is not collected in Event Forwarding. Instead, you configure the appropriate actions to send your data to other endpoints, e.g. Facebook CAPI.

    Data is collected by Web SDK just like how you send data to AA or AEP, Event Forwarding is one of the service options in Datastream (Server Side / Edge Network) for you to send data to 3rd party destinations.

     

    But I believe you still need to create an Event Forwarding property in Launch to specify which destination you want to send, there're a list of extensions for you to choose and each one have its own configuration to be done.
