Hi all,
AEP is An open, intelligent, and real-time platform for customer experience.
1. Data from Analytics or Audience Manager is not real time? Is there a lag?
I am aware that AEP brings data from multiple online/offline sources and combines it with AI/ML and has multiple advantages.
My query is more towards the real time.
2. How AEP makes the data ready real time and how differently does it perform this when compared with other products in that space?

Hi @AEM_Forum ,
I am assuming that your question about Adobe Analytics data is related to data coming from your web or mobile channels. The fastest way to stream this type of data into Platform is through the Web and Mobile SDKs. If you implement with these SDKs you send data to Adobe's edge network which then forwards the data to Platform in real-time and supports real-time edge segmentation with Real-Time CDP.

When you use the Adobe Analytics source connector in Platform to ingest data from Analytics, it must first go through all of the Analytics processing and so the data is not real-time.

Hi,
Even in the case of AEP, after the data ingestion, it needs to be processed, in terms of Data Sciences work of applying AI/ML models on it correct?
Or this AI/ML processing is done in real time, but the other processing is not?

Hi,
I am not referring to SDKs.
It is the general statement that with AEP we get segments, etc in real time, which is not possible outside (using Adobe Analytics.AAM, etc).
How to justify this without qualifying with SDKs, etc?
