Data Distiller | A Guide to Using the Download Query Results Feature

In this post, we’ll cover how to quickly and easily download your query results directly from the Data Distiller Query Editor. This feature is designed to streamline workflows for marketing and analytics teams by providing immediate access to query outputs for offline analysis, reporting, or Excel-based processing.

How to Download Query Results

Once you have successfully executed a query in the Query Editor, follow these steps to download your results:

1. Navigate to the Result tab of the Query Editor.

2. Click the Download button located in the upper-right corner.

3. Select your preferred file format from the dropdown options:

   • CSV

   • XLSX

   • JSON

4. The file will be downloaded automatically to your local machine for immediate use.

 

Important Notes

• The Download button only appears when the query returns results.

• If no records are returned, the Result tab will display a ‘No results’ message and the download option will be disabled.

• The Download button allows downloading up to the maximum number of results permitted by the Editor’s limitation, which is 1000 rows.
