XML Sitemap feature: Adding in x-default and lastmod

I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible in the AEM Sitemap feature to add in both:

  • x-default hreflang attribute
  • <lastmod> date

I did not see this in the documentation nor either of these represented in the WKND example here:

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/sites/seo/sitemaps.html

Thanks in advance!

Dear @travisya ,

It is possible to implement by adding custom Namespace and/or attributes.

for more details please visit this article [0].

Although, worth visiting this [1] article for better understanding.

Adding this for those who are trying to add <lastmod> date.

Instructions are on this page about 3/4 of the way down:
https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/managing/managing-further-reference/seo-and-url-management.html?lang=en

And here is the way to get x-default added (why do they make this stuff to hard to find?):
Go to the link below and see 'Specifying the default language (x-default)' section...
