Why are AuthenticationInfo and AuthenticationHandler from Sling deprecated in version 7. What is the replacement?

I find that in the Sling7, the AuthenticationInfo and AuthenticationHandler APIs have been marked deprecated however no replacement for the same has been listed. What are the new set of APIs for theses functionalities?

Its there in the docs.. Deprecated List (Apache Sling 7 API)

Should be using:

AuthenticationHandler (Apache Sling 7 API)

AuthenticationInfo (Apache Sling 7 API)
