Can there be a way to remove whitespace from Sightly components HTML output

Previously in JSPs we could use - trimDirectiveWhitespaces="true".

    Hi Dipti

           Here is the exact same question asked before Sightly remove whitespace  . I am not sure if they have added an option. May be Feike Visser or Jörg Hoh can answer this for you. smacdonald2008​ do you think we have a solution for this ?

    You can use a module like mod_pagespeed, at the webserver level.
