When launch page is promoted, page properties are not promoting to source page

When setting the page property "(Example) Description" for a launch page and promoting the launch, it is not reflected in the page property "Description" of the original source. Should we have to do anything specific to make it work? Please support

The Launch also rely on MSM behind the scene, so some of the properties would not be rollout due to exclusion rule.

 

Several properties and node types are excluded by default, these are defined in the OSGi configuration of CQ MSM Content Update Action, under Excluded Page Properties.

    Hi @arunpatidar ,

    Thanks for your reply.

    I have remove jcr:description from 

    CQ MSM Content Update Action, under Excluded Page Properties. But still jcr:description was not updating after promoting the launch,  in the page property "jcr:description" of the original source. Should I have to exclude it from any other configuration as well?

    Hi @karthikav1 

    I don't think so if there are other configuration, try to restart MSM Bundle or if trying in local try to restart felix console or AEM
