Whats happens during a move of page

In AEM 6.1 im moving a page with 17 subpages.

If I do a move action the following happens.

The action will query if there are references to other pages.

The content is moved to its new place.

The content is deleted at the old places

Everything is published.

I'm now wondering if all revisions are also updated during this proces?

I cannot find any documentation about this.

Can anybody help me out with this?

Your understanding is correct on move operation, but can you be more clear on what do you mean by "all revisions are also updated during this process?"

For all subpage I have 15 revisions/versions on our production env. On our Acceptance env the same content only have 3 revisions/versions on all the pages.

When I do a move action on the acc env its completed in 7 seconds so the page with 17 subpages is moved. When I do the same action on production the same action takes up 42 seconds. So I was wondering if the move process also updates all the revisions/versions of the page and subpages.

The versions of a page are referenced by the UUID of a page, not by path. They should not need to get updated.
