@gargkrishna Basically foundation compoenents are the the ones that aredesigned for use when authoring content for a standard web page. They form a subset of the components available out-of-the-box for a standard installation of AEM.

And core compoenents are introduced in aem 6.X. This is maily used to override/extend components in aem which will be secure, robust, version-able and uses latest technologies. It also helps speed up the process of developing websites in aem and follow best practices and coding stds.
