👋 Welcome New AEM Community Members — August 2025

Welcome to all the new members who joined this month! We’re excited to have you in the Adobe AEM Community🎉. Whether you’re brand new or have been here a while, this space is all about learning, sharing, and connecting with peers who get what you do every day.

In a world where so much is automated and AI-driven, this space is different — it’s built on humans helping humans. Every question asked, every tip shared, every reply left here makes a real difference.

If you’re new, this is your first touchpoint — and we’re truly glad you’re here. Think of this thread as a friendly café table where you can pull up a chair, say hi, and get to know others who “get” what you do. To get started, share:

  • What company and role are you in
  • Which feature you’re using most
  • One area you want to get better at
  • How long you been working with AEM
  • How long you been using AEM

And give us your answer to this month's Ice Breaker question for all to kick things off:
👉 If you could rename one feature in AEM to something more fun, what would you call it?

✨ If you’re already part of the community, jump in too — share a tip, answer a question, or just welcome someone new. Every reply makes this space more valuable for everyone.

We are assigning veteran SMEs in a round-robin fashion, and they will be your primary point of contact for any operational or community-related issues.

Buddies for this month: @arunpatidar@tarunkumar , @narendragandhi , @gkalyan , @harwinder-singh , @aravinds , @sherinregi-1 and @himanshu_jain

Hi everyone,

I’m Kautuk Sahni, and I am managing the AEM and WF community in Adobe. I’ve been with Adobe for nearly 13 years, starting my journey as a Software Engineer before moving into community management. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting product communities, and I’m truly excited to now work with this amazing group. Outside of work, I’m a big sports enthusiast 🎾 (tennis is my favorite!) and also love cooking and exploring new cuisines. So if you’ve got a favorite recipe, feel free to share — I’m always up for trying something new.

I’m really looking forward to connecting with you all and helping this community grow into an even more engaging, supportive space. Please don’t hesitate to reach out anytime. I’m here to listen, learn, and support.

 Hi All,

I'm Chris Esposito based out of New York City. We have just made the switch to AEM and looking forward to utilizing all that it offers - especially with personalization and Abode Target where we have not made many strides yet. Glad to hear from everyone, and looking forward to sharing successes with AEM.

Best,

Chris

Hi everyone! I'm Laurel and I'll teach a new course next year called "digitally mediated UX" for our graduate program at West Virginia University. I want to introduce students to this community re: AEM from a consumer-facing perspective.

@drlaurelcook Welcome, Laurel! Exciting to hear about your upcoming course, introducing students to AEM through a UX lens sounds fantastic. The community is a great resource to bring real-world perspectives into your teaching. We’d love to hear more about how your students engage with AEM once the course begins.

Hi everyone,

I’m Oscar Salas, working at Omni.pro as an AEM Tech Lead.
I’ve been working with AEM since 2022, mostly in AEM as a Cloud Service.

What I use the most: Content Fragments and the Sites console.
Where I want to grow: Expanding my knowledge in the content supply chain connected to Assets, and going deeper into Edge Delivery Services for both storefronts and large-scale content site migrations.

If I could rename a feature in AEM, I would call Content Fragments “LEGO Blocks” because of how modular and reusable they are when building scalable content structures.

Looking forward to learning and sharing with this community.

@olsalas711 Welcome, Oscar! Great to have an AEM Tech Lead like you here. Love the ‘LEGO Blocks’ analogy for Content Fragments, spot on! You’ll find plenty of discussions around Assets and Edge Delivery here, so I’m sure your insights will be valuable too. Looking forward to your contributions.

Hi there! Thank you for your message. I really want to use Adobe Experience Manager as a CMS in the future and I am trying to already test it a little. It seems difficult to get access to any environment. Maybe you can help me with this!

Hi @noelho ,

If you’re not currently working as a partner, you probably don’t have access to a sandbox environment.
However, you can still start learning by setting up a local AEM environment. You can follow this guide:

Set up the development tools for AEM as a Cloud Service development | Adobe Experience Manager

Best Regards,

Oscar

Hello - I'm Alex, and I'm managing the web presence at the University of Cincinnati's Libraries. Our AEM is centrally governed by the university's MarComm team, so my admin abilities are pretty limited. Getting into it, though.

@uc_ux Hi Alex, welcome aboard! Great to have you here. Even with limited admin access, it’s awesome that you’re diving into AEM and getting hands-on. This community is a great place to pick up tips and ideas from others in similar roles. Looking forward to hearing more about your journey at UC Libraries!

Hi I'm Brian, I'm working on some experimentation for migrating our clients from proprietary implementations of some of the same products that Adobe have to Adobe. Looking to learn more and get creative with clients on how these services can help propel their business forward.

@kautuk_sahni That's a great idea!

I am Anjaneai, working as Dev on AEM.

Working on AEM since 2013-2014 (CQ5 era & Ex-Adobe), so almost 11 years. (I was active in past for many other products, like PPBU, Coldfusion, Captivate, Livecycle, now getting back to AEM sphere)

I have most worked on AEM forms and DAM (content fragments within DAM), I would like to expand my knowledge on TagManager.

I would like to incorporate the Adobe Stock assets to DAM and call it altogether DAM+

@anjaneaisri Hi Anjaneai, welcome back! 👋 Amazing to see someone with such deep history in AEM (all the way from the CQ5 days!) rejoining the sphere. Your experience across Forms, DAM, and other Adobe products will be a huge asset here. Love your idea around DAM+ with Adobe Stock — looking forward to your insights and knowledge-sharing in the community!
