websphere commerce server and adobe CQ integration

Hi everyone,

 
Wanted to get your thoughts on websphere commerce server and adobe CQ integration. Is there any issues with this integration (advantages and disadvantages) ? Anything I should know before starting the project based on this integration ? Any best practices/guidelines that we should be following during design for this integration.

Please note I haven;t implemented personally with any commerce integration.  

Make sure to utilize AEM ecommerce api http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/javadoc/com/adobe/cq/commerce/api/package-summary.html
