Version purge maintenance activity always showing running not completes

Hi Team, 

 

We are facing issue while Version Purge maintenance activity. it always running.

Can anyone please let us know how we resolve this or is there any way to purge all version at a time.

How long has it been running? Any errors in logs?

    It has been running for the last three days AEM author is too slow, even 1 click on any pages takes- 5-10 mins

    Nothing found relevant of version purge in error logs

      You might have to execute Offline Tar compaction https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/deploying/deploying/revision-cleanup.html?lang=en#how-to-run-offline-revision-cleanup
