Using REFRESH_PAGE as cq:listner it is refreshing the page but parsys is not visible

I have added cq:listner on afteredit REFRESH_PAGE. 

Page is getting refreshed, but the parsys and configuring is not possible 

 

Before editing the component

 

After I edit the component and the page is refreshed 


everything regarding editing vanishes .... Now to get the parsys back either I need to refresh the page or I have to switch from edit to preview and back to edit mode then the parsys and component configuring is possible.

This could be because of your component design. Is this happening for other OOTB/Core components as well?

If it is just your component then you can look for other options http://www.sgaemsolutions.com/2019/01/ootbcustom-cqlisteners-in-cqeditconfig.html

    Can you please check this link and cross verify, if you have followed all the steps to add the cq:listener? http://www.sgaemsolutions.com/2019/01/ootbcustom-cqlisteners-in-cqeditconfig.html

     

    Also, can you check if this is happening to a single component or multiple components? Can you please check the log as well?

      Issue is only for one particular component or do you see it across other components as well?
      Could check the below documentation and confirm everything configured correctly.
