Uploading large files

I have a very large zip file in the gigabytes territory. Was wondering how I can upload this

with out conflicting with the size constraint on AEM? Can I curl it over? If I can what would the

command line look like?

You can use webdav to upload such files. More on webdav - http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/core/how_to/webdav_access.html.
