Too many file open Error - Does this happen in AEM 6.4 and above ?

Hi,

Was going through AEM docs for details on "Too Many File Open" error which sometimes crashed AEM too.

Adobe documentation says it applies to :

CQ CQ 5.5 Experience Manager 5.6.1 Experience Manager 6.0 Experience Manager 6.1 Experience Manager 6.2 Experience Manager 6.3

 

Just wondering if we get this error in AEM 6.4 and AEM 6.5 ?

Hi @rohitp23277067,

Yes, this is generic and applies to all AEM versions. The solution to this problem is:

  1. Find out what is causing the open file limit to be reached
  2. Either increase the limit or fix the application bugs.

  1. Find out what is causing the open file limit to be reached
  2. Either increase the limit or fix the application bugs.
