i gone through that video but in my assets page i was unable to see the change thumbnail button and automatic thumbnail was not getting for me

Are you using same version as specified in the video?

it is applicable for 6.3 and 6.4......................... i am using 6.3

You following the same steps as shown in the video. And you are not getting the same results. Are you seeing any error messages?

For proper transcoding to occur, your administrator must Install FFmpeg separately. They can also Configure your Video Profiles for use with HTML5 elements.

I'm experiencing the same issue (not seeing change thumbnail button). Running AEM 6.4.3. Should this functionality be available out of the box for AEM? I've installed FFMPEG.

Also configuring "video profiles" requires that you use the OOTB video component. The OOTB video component only works with static templates. I am using editable templates.

Any tips?

P.S. foundation components are being deprecated, which includes the video component.

The button is visible only if you run Dynamic Media or Scene 7 mode.
