SEO for product pages

Hi,

 

I was wandering how AEM handles duplicate content in case of Geometrixx Outdoors example.

There are product pages with the same content under different categories. For example, the product "Fulani Nomad" can be found under "Hiking" and under "Pants".

 

Is there any OOB way to handle this duplicate content?

I dont think anything comes OOB for this.

I think rel canonical tag will help to not read this contents as duplicate content for crawlers.

As @bsloki said, there is no such functionality in AEM. However, there are third party tools which could help you.

As mentioned by Jitender, the provided link would help you, but i doubt if this could be programmed. 

For taht you would need to create a custome component or Sling Service communicating with external api's.
