search implementations for aem sites

Hi All,

At present client is using Vivisimo search to perform search on sites.

Client decided to go with new search implementations and deprecate vivisimo search.

Client site does sitemap, pages search using vivisimo search. I am completely new to "search implementations" and looking for what search implementations other AEM teams using for all aem sites. 

Any pointers on

what are available search implementations (open source, commercial)

where could I start , any blogs especially for aem applications, sites integration.

I appreciate any help.

We implemented Coveo search for our site. Coveo is AI ML model based intelligent search. You can easily plugin the sitemap.xml to coveo and index it. Coveo also have inbuilt connectors to connect with Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence etc...so many to index and serve in search results. Coveo JS UI framework can be integrated into our components and show the search UI. Coveo also provides awesome reports. We moved from Adobe Search & Promote to Coveo. Huge benefits and features and see awesome search performance in terms of metrics.
