SCF Poll component removed in 6.1? What is the alternative?

According to the previous AEM documentation (6.0) SCF JSP based components should be ported to HBS versions.

Now it seems that the Poll component has just been removed.

Is the SCF Poll component in AEM 6.1 removed?  

What is the alternative / replacement then?

You are correct, the Poll component has not yet been ported to SCF as an HBS component and as of AEM 6.1, there are no longer any JSP versions of Communities components.  There are plans for the port, but not a commitment.
