Reverse Replication of Users

Hello Experts,

 

We are trying to Reverse replicate few nodes from Publish to Author, One amongst them is /home/users.

I setup a launcher for the same, but even when the workflow shows that reverse replication is complete, User nodes are replicated from Publish to Author.

Any Ideas why?

 

Also, In case of Multi Publisher environment does AEM automatiacally replicates /home/user nodes to all Publishers including any custom properties for User?

You can use Sling Content Distribution for that, and can use Apache Sling Distribution Trigger' for that.

Distribution between Publish instances is also possible

Hi @1842554 

 For users/group normally you use user synchronization<https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/administering/security/sync.html?lang=en> instead of Reverse replication agent.

      Thank you Ritesh, This looks great, When I use the same service for for reverse replicating the /home/users I get this error:

      PACKAGE-FAIL DSTRQ8: could not deliver package dstrpck-2021--8--24--16--32--b18ba5ed-3e8c-4148-9aec-e381e3401b98_363 javax.jcr.AccessDeniedException: OakAccess0000: Access denied
