Regression of AEM pages/components

Avatar

Level 4

We are looking at a tool which we can utilize to do functional regression testing for our sites.

Since, Adobe doesn't recommend Hobbes.js. Do we have any recommendation we can look at?

Any help would be appreciated.

As @BrianKasingli mentioned, bobcat is a mature functional test frame work AEM. Adobe has started a new repo for aem-testing and its getting updated well nowadays and has examples of smock tests for various aem ootb structures. Please have a look at it at [1]

You can leverage the Bobcat Test Framework for testing items within the author environment. https://www.liatrio.com/blog/bobcat-test-framework-as-an-aem-focused-ui-testing-framework

There are some AEM 6.4 && 6.5 test examples that can be found here - https://github.com/Cognifide/bobcat-aem-tests
