Regarding Renditions

Hello All,

Good evening..

Plan to work on Renditions,am very new to renditions concept so could we apply Processing profiles or Image Preset rules on "Dam Update Asset"?

Plan to use "Dam Update Asset" OOTB workflow for web enabled renditions.

Can any one please suggest how "DAM update Asset" OOTB workflow is working and how many types or renditions are happen once upload the image?

Is there any restrictions(size and width) while uploading image into DAM?

Can we upload any size of image into DAM ?

is  "DAM update Asset" OOTB workflow is generated constant renditions irrespective of image size and width is uploading into DAM?

Highly Appreciate if some respond early.

Can any one please suggest how "DAM update Asset" OOTB workflow is working and how many types or renditions are happen once upload the image? - There is a workflow launcher setup in CQ5 which starts when ever there is any DAM asset modified, this initiates all the steps present in DAM Asset Workflow.Renditions are configurable, you can add you custom renditions as well, Check here to apply custom renditions

Can we upload any size of image into DAM ? Yes, Unless and until you haven't put any custom restrictions
