Reader dropping form data barcode

Hi,

I am using Adobe Acrobat XI to create a form that has a barcode with form data. When I publish the form and fill it via Reader, the barcode turns gray. Can someone please guide me if AEM will help resolve that issue or can it be done via Adobe Professional itself?

Can you please help me understand how AEM is coming into this workflow? This seems more of Acrobat's Issue.

Before moving this question I need to know what is your workflow? How are you using a form created in acrobat inside AEM?

I used Acrobat XI to create the form. Once I have published it, users with Adobe Reader only have the barcode dropped. I was told that I will need AEM to create the form and publish. I just wanted to know if I really need AEM or is there a way around.

I have the form data in PDF417 barcode that will be read via handheld scanner.
