publisher passing 401 authentication error to AEM-managed dispatcher

I would like to get an access to my managed dispatchers as our CSE has suggested. He also pointed to https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/Adobe-Experience-Manager/publisher-passing-401-authentication-error-to-localhost/qaq-p/192230 post as a solution.

I added RequestHeader unset Authorization to the mod_headers.c section of my vhost file, but that did not solve the problem.

I am wondering what additional limitations on dispatchers and publishers in environments managed by Adobe prevent this tip from working.

Hello,

If you need access to your dispatcher, please reach out to your CSE directly or raise a daycare ticket [1] explaining the reason why the access is required and the business impact of this issue.

My CSE white-listed my access to Dispatcher in one of my lower environments. However, I am still seeing 401 there even after adding "RequestHeader unset Authorization" to my vhost there as he suggested. I was hoping to tap into the forum knowledge before going to Daycare.
