Product childcard image customization

Hi,

Some of our products don't have their image in the DAM but in another server.

To have the product childcard working we customized it in /apps/commerce/gui/components/admin/products/childcard/childcard.jsp

This is working good expect for a search (omnisearch) where /libs/commerce/gui/components/admin/products/childcard/childcard.jsp is still taken due to card path property of /libs/granite/omnisearch/content/metadata/product

Do you have any suggestion to get customized childcard component working whit a product search on AEM 6.3 ?

For your search - i assume you still want to search within the AEM JCR?
