hi folks,
Working as a contractor for a cloud development project; the client wants to create a new program and has asked Adobe CSM for the same.
But just wanted to know is it chargeable to create a new environment as well?
I have seen new environment being created on the fly for a particular program. But just wanted to know how Adobe charges for creating new programs and environments.
I know an exact figure probably isn't feasible here but still would be good to know how the pricing model works.
thanks

Hey Ronnie:
So, first disclaimer: the only ones allowed to talk pricing specifics are Adobe Sales. Partners like myself, even if we know pricing, aren't allowed to share it.
That being said, the pricing model for AEMaaCS is counted by page view / API call. When the contract is first signed, you work out how many environments (or `programs` in AEM parlance) you need, and how those page views will be apportioned amongst them. You also work out how many individual environments you need in those programs. By default, any given program has a Prod, Stage, Dev and RDE environment. If you need more environments than that (i.e. a "DEV2" environment or a "QA" environment, etc) this would incur extra cost. How much cost it would incur is up to Adobe Sales.
Hope that helps!
