Predictive search / Auto suggest

Hi,

We want to achieve auto-suggest search box, suggestion should be obtained through search and promote. And suggestion is restricted to particular pages.

Can you guide.

You may be able to achieve this by combination of the following 

1. Enabling auto-complete

Hi,

I am not looking for faceted search. I want auto suggest to be restricted to the data obtained from few pages of site after crawling. (ie auto suggest should only suggest data from those pages and not from complete site)

How can that be achieved?

You cannot customize results with ootb auto-complete in S&P.

SAYT (search as you type) is a good solution for this use case. You can include SAYT script on you pages and it can be limited based on either Facets or Collections.
