Permissions for publisher

Avatar

Level 3

Hi All,

We have a scenario where a Publisher would need the permissions to move and rename a page in WCM but not edit the page. We tried the combinations of permissions, but we couldn't able to achieve this.

Currently we have Read + Replicate permissions for the Publisher. Can you please help me with what Advanced privileges would give the ability to move and rename the page but not edit the contents of the page?

Thanks,

Arun.

Hi Arun,

Move, rename and edit operations come under modification of the page, so you must select modify checkbox. We don't have separate permissions only for the move and rename and separate permissions for only editing the content all come under Modify and create permission

Please refer below article for the list of permissions:

Usually, the publisher will publish the page, if he sees any issues he must redirect to content authors for modification's.
