Permissions for Asset Contribution

Avatar

Level 3

On AEM v.6.5.6, I've integrated Brand Portal and I am able move assets to and from AEM and Brand Portal.

A new folder of type 'Asset Contribution' has to be created which makes the folder compatible with Brand Portal. In AEM, I am able to create the folder of type 'Asset Contribution' because I have 'admin' permissions, I have content authors who are unable to create folder of type 'Asset Crontibution'. I'd like to know what extra permissions should be given to content authors for creating 'Asset Contribution' type folder. What is the .csv format required to add users?

Hi @Berus ,

Although the document shows steps to upload the users via CSV in brand portal users, users should be granted read access to the 'conf > global' node from user admin to see the 'Asset Contribution' folder type.

Thanks.

Hi

For your brand portal users, user can be added to dam-users AEM group to work.

Note : A non-admin user can create and share an asset contribution folder but cannot modify or delete it.
