Page blank in edit mode

Hello everyone,

I'm new to AEM and currently learning through self-study. I've imported the project and executed "mvn clean install -PautoInstallSinglePackage". However, when I attempted to edit the page, it appeared blank. Upon checking the bundles, I encountered some errors related to Sling. Could someone please assist me with what needs to be done to resolve this?

Thank you!

Hi @shrutimu,

Service Packs for version 6.5 are not publicly downloadable from open websites. Instead, they are distributed through Adobe’s official channels.

Here’s how you can get the latest AEM 6.5 Service Pack:

1. Click here to visit Adobe's Software Distribution Portal: https://experience.adobe.com/#/downloads/content/software-distribution/en/aem.html

2. Navigate to Adobe Experience Manager > look for AEM 6.5 updates, including Service Packs.

Note: Make sure you have access to it, if not ask your AEM administrator, IT team, or project lead — someone likely has access to the Adobe Licensing Portal or can request it from Adobe.

Hi @shrutimu,

Could you please confirm more details of - What version of AEM, JAVA are you using?

Have you installed the latest AEM Service Pack? - I believe, you haven't installed latest service pack.

Example: AEM 6.5.20 supports Java 11. Make sure you're not using Java 17 or Java 8.

You can download the latest SP form the download center and Make sure it’s installed on your local instance before deploying code.

Reference: You can check what Java and SDK version pairs with your AEM version here: AEM Compatibility Matrix (Adobe Docs)

@santoshsai

I am currently using AEM version 6.5.0 and Java 15.0.1.

Please guide me on where I can download and install the latest AEM Service Pack?
