Not all images are available on the publish instance

Hi here.

So the long process of copying site to the test server finally is fine except some minor things.

1 is:

In 4502 all digital assets are available. but on 4503 some not. Error 404.

In the replication log, the image is listed as activated.

The dispatcher allows all image types. 

Any clue?

in the error.log in Publisher for those missing images there is a message

 *INFO* GET /content/dam/<path>/<image_name>.jpg HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Resource /content/dam/<path>/www.mediart.cc/agb not found

if we go to that link,  it is a page with picture copyright agreement

No DAM recourse exist in author neither, but in author the image is shown.

As you mentioned you are not able to access http://<server>:4503/content/dam/<path>/<image_name>.jpg and able to access its rendition.

Can you delete the image and again upload it back and then check.

I discussed with my team, it seems they also faced similar issue, it was resolved after changing some configuration in Apache, I am trying to get those details. Will let you know. 

I our case also it was appending a folder path after image path as we can see in your case in logs.

are you saying at this path /content/dam/<path>/<image_name>.jpg image in not present in author as well but its loading in page (in author) ?

I noticed that all images that are not seen  are on the pages after login  But I see that the replication went fine (I see in the log)

no i don't have. I installed Apache and Adobe CQ myself in a new Linux server.

i did it and it is still thinking. I mean file is there but i can't see the thumbnail image. and also in CRX the renditions folder disappeared for this image node-

I deleted and uploaded it again in 4502/dam

Activated.

4502/etc/replication/agents.author/publish.log.html:

Replication (ACTIVATE) of /content/dam/<path>/<name> successful.

Still no image on the page.

should i do delete and upload on 4503 manually?

No no the image itself is exists in both 4502 and 4503

but this one not

/content/dam/<path>/www.mediart.cc/agb

as the log is saying
