Hi everyone
This is Dipti, working as Manager Technology in TO THE NEW - a consulting firm based out of Noida, India. I started my career 9 years back in Sapient, with PHP based CMS 'Drupal'. Then I moved on to Java with Fatwire CMS. Finally started working with AEM (CQ5.4 primarily) for around 2.5 years. Then I took an unexpected decision of joining a startup, where I worked on IBM WCM and Websphere Portal.
After 2 years, my love for some more known CMS (primarily AEM) bought me back into the game. And now I am working on 6.2 related projects and also exploring 6.3 Beta version.
At personal front, I love reading (more of fiction), watching Hollywood movies and tv series, travelling and playing games (definitely not candy crush!).
Looking forward to contributing more to the community.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Chris. I am the Content Systems Manager for Viking Cruises and have been using AEM 6.1 for over a year now. Looking to gain more insight to using this program and helping others to benefit from all the features that is associated with the Experience Manager. As of now, we use the Assets side of the AEM program which serves as our DAM for photography and assets. In my spare time, I snowboard in the winter and hike/camp in the summer. Hope my participation within this community will help others as well as myself to understand more of the AEM world.
Best regards,
Chris

Hi All,
My name is Jason Bailey, I work for SAS where I was a Principal Application Developer and Architect for our online presence via AEM and now manager of the same said team. I'm over opinionated, love an argument, and I have deep affection for the Sling platform. I've been developing in Java for close to 17 years and I've held a vast array of positions and titles. I really enjoy helping people and I will do my best to answer questions.
Hi Jason.
What specifically do you like about Sling? I've been pondering what advantages it provides over a simple servlet with a supporting api to get resources using variables stuffed in the session or request. In my mind you could say it adds a layer of complexity that needs to be maintained.
I guess it's a moot point because Sling is here to stay, just curious what they were thinking when they created this, and why others like it.

Hi everyone,
My name is Jessie Louthan, and I'm an AEM Business Analyst/Author. I've been using AEM since CQ 5.0, having come from a digital marketing/automotive journalism background (non-tech related, I remodelled homes for most of my life, and was involved in other industries as well).
Most of my experience is split between being an Author and a BA. I've worked for several major companies and agencies, and I'm currently residing in Seattle (Bellevue) WA.
I've been a part of this community for about a year now, and it's one of the best out there IMO. Everyone from Adobe and other places have been very helpful in assisting me with my issues, and this is my go-to place to learn what's going on within the AEM community. It's great to see what other people are working on.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, and anything cars/food related. I hope to be an asset to the community and continue to learn from everyone else. :-)
