Multiple In-Place Editors

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to configure Multiple In-Place Editors (https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/develop/components/multiple-inplace-editors.html) in a site with AEM v6.0 SP3 but I've just read that it has been introduced in AEM 6.1.

Is it possible to import the functionality in AEM 6.0 too?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, please raise the support ticket, they will give you the hotfixes related to the same.

else install 6.1 with SP1 as they have included with SP1 bundle

There is a link to download code package. You could try using that.

Hi

As mentioned by Jitendra, you could download it from:-

Link:- https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-authoring-hybrideditors

// it is mentioned in the documentation of 6.1( bottom). Link: "https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/develop/components/multiple-inplace-editors.html"

I hope this would help you.

Thanks and Regards

Thanks for your replies,

I've installed the package you suggested but when I try to edit a text it gives me this alert:

There is no suitable editor registered for inline editing.
Please check your edit configuration.
undefined

I guess that AEM 6.0 doesn't know how to execute it because the type cq:ChildEditorConfigis is missing.

Could you please suggest if there is a way to install the missing type?
If not, advice me a different approach.
