MSM - AEM 6.5 : best way to override existing MSM OSGI config

Hello,

 

We are using MSM for one of our websites and we wish to use specific overrides for the default rollout config along with the synchronization actions such as contentCopy, contentUpdate, etc,... We also need to keep the OOTB MSM configuration untouched because it needs to be shared by other websites from the same AEM instance.

We are aware of the possibility to change the OOTB synchronization actions from config manager but it would not be what we wish to do since we might have other websites with each some specific rollout rules.

What is the best way to apply our customized MSM configuration for the default settings on only one site ?

Hi,

In this case, you can create a custom rollout config to sync other properties as well. you can add other(Standard) rollout actions as well to your custom rollout config.

and this rollozt config can be used whereeve you want e.g. within site, within a tree of site or just for a page.

    And the liveaction config will be applied only to specific website ? For e.g. config for contentCopyFactory

    My requirement is to use the liveaction OOTB fatcories but with specific filters for only one site
