Modify the paraformat options within the AEM RTE of the Text Core Component

I want to make two modifications to the paraformat options within the AEM Rich Text Editor of the Core Text Component.

1. I want to change the description of the blockquote node from “Quote” to “Blockquote.” Since I am overlaying the AEM Core Text Component, I assumed I could change the description value, but that does not seem to be the case. So, I also tried to use sling:hideProperties String description on the default_blockquote node, based on what I read in the Using the Sling Resource Merger in AEM documentation, but that does not work either.
2. I want to remove the default_h6 option. For this I tried adding a sling:hideResource Boolean true property to the default_h6 node, but this does not remove the Heading 6 option.

I am using AEM 6.5.12, Core Components version 2.19.0 and V2 of the Core Text Component.

I don't see a problem in the dialog. I would assume you have a proxy component with sling:resourceSupertype pointing to core/wcm/components/text/v2/text then this should ideally work unless there are some other errors observed on console or in your error logs. It could simply be a browser cache issue as well, so you can also once try to do a hard reload for your page.

Hi, 

I am able to see the changes i.e. h6 is hidden with sling:hideResource and description is changed just by changing the description in 6.5.21
