Hi comunity,
I was looking at the move functionality inside assets in order to move content fragments in dam. When I tried to move it to a new folder a dialog pops up asking me about the referenced pages where this content fragment is being used. When looking at the 2 first columns I checked that there were two ways on how the referenced path will be moved (here below both Adjust and Republish).
What I want to know is what's the diferent between these functions?
I review that
Adjust is replacing the old path for the new one,
but Republish is doing nothing with the old path.
Could you please help me understanding why this is happening and what's the sense on not replacing all old paths (Republish)
Regards.

Adjust - Where ever old asset path has been used, it will be replaced with new path. So that your pages are referring to same asset after move operation
Republish - WIll publish asset moved to new path.
Does that answer your question?
Are you following the Move Procedure here to move an Asset?
Titled "Moving or Renaming Assets"

Hi edubey,
Thanks for your reply. I did understand what adjust makes. the think is with Republish function. I explain.
If have have the asset /content/asset.jpg in author and that content is referenced in a page in publish and I move that asset to /content/test/asset.jpg when I use republish that mean that only the asset will be moved in publish/dam but not in the referenced page?
Does this make sense?
