Hi guys, can anyone tell me how to create a Latest Post Component from scratch.

can you please provide more information - what AEM version are you using. WHen you say POST component - do you mean a form component that can post data to a servlet?

my moto is to create a live news post component. The component has to update for every 5 min with latest breaking news.

You can create a component using a JQuery plug-in such as:
