when I tried Jacoco offline coverage in aem project it's able to generate the coverage report under  in core module but it also generated the empty (target /generated-classes/jacoco) at project level

FYI

in parent pom (project level pom) added

jacoco agent dependency

jacoco build plugin configuration

in core module

jacoco agent dependency

Thanks

PS:share the link if u have reference

It will be good to share a sample pom of what you're using. For instance if you clone aem-wcm-core-components repo and execute mvn clean install on the bundles/core folder it generates all folders as you expect, and eventually under site folder you will also see coverage html files. May be you can compare this POM with yours. Verify your surefire plugin config also as it plays a major role before jacoco kicks in. Thanks
