Is that valid backup of AEM 6.5 server to take snapshot of VM.

As per documents backup should be online and offline

1.online backup -->While running AEM service

2.offline backup--> Need to stop AEM service before taking offline backup, and currently I am taking VM snapshot and it consider as offline backup ? because while taking backup our AEM service is always ON)
